”The No OM Zone” author and YAS Fitness Centers founder will be yoga expert at first stop in nationwide tour.
Kimberly Fowler, founder and owner of Southern California’s YAS Fitness Centers, will be the featured yoga expert at the kick-off of this year’s nationwide “Prevention Take Charge Tour” on October 23rd at Chicago’s Millennium Park. Fowler, whose new book, The No OM Zone: A No-Chanting, No-Granola, No Sanskrit Practical Guide to Yoga, recently topped Amazon.com’s list of new fitness titles, will give demonstrations on her accessible No OM approach to yoga. Providing the latest findings in nutrition, fitness, and age-defying beauty, the one-stop health event, which is free to the public and sponsored by Prevention magazine – America’s #1 healthy lifestyle brand – will host other inspirational guests including Olympian Dara Torres and NBC “TODAY” anchor/journalist Hoda Kotb. Financial planning sessions and career seminars, nutrition consultations and cooking demos, preventative medical screenings, giveaways, surprise age-defying makeovers, motivational stories, and more will also be featured throughout the day. “I’m honored to take part in the first ever Prevention Take Charge Tour alongside such iconic women,” said Fowler. “The event will be an inspiring collage of amazing updates and presentations in so many areas that affect and better our lives. I’m thrilled to share the No OM approach to yoga with Chicagoans.” Fowler’s popular no nonsense approach has grown into four busy YAS locations in Venice, Silver Lake, East Costa Mesa, and downtown LA. She recently appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to talk about her new book and style.|
